Dai Davies tops Tylorstown Leisure Centre on October 8

Following on from a career best performance against previously unbeaten Hungarian Norbert Kalucza, Merthyr hero Dai Davies continues to improve his record and now holds four wins in his last five contests. As Dai headlines once again he hopes that this win will put him firmly into a top five position in the UK rankings and get him a long awaited shot at the British title.

Rising star Morgan Jones returns to the ring in his fifth contest of 2016 after an impressive shut out victory over Elvis Dube in July. Morgan is fast becoming one to watch in the light heavyweight division. Robbie Turley continues to build himself towards domestic titles and he will be returning in Tylorstown off the back of a clear points win over Brett Fidoe in Merthyr. Tony Dixon returns to the ring following a shocking knockout loss in May. Tony is motivated to get back on the winning trail and is looking for an improved performance.

Popular Dorian Darch unbeaten since 2014 has his eyes on the Welsh heavyweight title and aims for a step up in competition this October.

The UK’s number one female bantamweight Ashley Brace has stacked up two stoppage victories in her last two contests and is now unbeaten in four fights and rated number 6 in Europe. Light heavyweight Anthony Trow will look for his first win of the year in front of a passionate home crowd. Jermaine Asare is back on track after beating Bryn Wain in every round last time out in Merthyr and will no doubt want to reignite title dreams with another victory on October 8th.

Undefeated super-lightweight Kyle Jones is now six wins without a loss as he continues to develop as a professional, Kyle is hoping to secure another win before the end of 2016. Fellow super-lightweight Richie Canning will also look to extend his undefeated record as he returns following a dominant points win over Devon’s Jack Green. Swansea’s Mano ‘Lightning’ Lee completes the line up.
