Fiz fights Crespin, full card for ‘Boulder County Brawl’ announced

Headlined by the local debut of undefeated, former Cuban amateur sensation Inocente “El Lucero Spirituano” Fiz, (19-0, 13KO’s) in a scheduled eight round middleweight clash against Las Vegas battle-tested veteran Arturo “El Toro” Crespin, (13-6-1, 4KOs).

Advance tickets are available starting at $25 by calling (720) 296-6176. Doors will open on the night of the event at 4:00 p.m. with the first bell at 5:00 p.m.

The Open to the Public Weigh-In will take place on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Las Palmeras Mexican Restaurant, 199 S. Main Street in Longmont.

An outstanding amateur with a record of 381-17 as a member of the legendary Cuban National Team, Fiz won numerous Gold Medals in international competition from 2001 to 2007.

Following three knockout performances in 2015, Fiz will be making the first start of his 2016 campaign on July 2.

The 26-year-old Crespin makes a quick return to action following an eight round decision over Renan Ruiz on May 19 in Rochester, New York.

Also featured in a five round super flyweight battle, local favorite Freddy Marquez, (1-0) known for his all-action, crowd pleasing, explosive style will face-off against Marco Alvarez, (1-9, 1KO) of Greenville, Texas.

In a battle of undefeated young prospects, Denver’s Misael Lopez, (1-0), will face Nebraska’s Jose Jacobo, (1-0) in a five round super featherweight bout.

In the super lightweight division, local favorite Gregorio Perez, (2-1-0, 1KO), will battle Nebraska’s Chad “Obie” Obermiller in a scheduled five rounder.

Super lightweights will also see action in a four round bout as hometowner Adrian Pineda, (1-1-0, 1KO) faces Erik Alvarez (0-1) of Salina Cruz, Mexico.

Local favorite Melik Elliston will make his professional debut in a four round flyweight bout against Basyzbek Baratov, (0-1) of Brooklyn, New York.

Super welterweights will face off in a four round clash as Baltazar Ramirez, (3-1, 3KOs), of Cuidad Juarez, Mexico, faces Richard Baldo,
(1-5, 1KO) of Caspar, Wyoming.

Rounding out the card, Guy Smith Jr., (6-2-1, 2KOs) of Omaha, Nebraska will be challenged by Colbert “The Pitbull” Lozoya, (7-12-0) of Las Cruces, New Mexico in a four round welterweight clash.
