Fast forward 24 hours, and UK tabloid The Mirror accused Fury and his cousin Hughie of testing positive for anabolic steroids in 2015 – which was vehemently denied by all.

By that time, Fury had already begun his booze quest and been celebrating with Northern Ireland fans by singing ‘Will Grigg’s on Fire’ in a pub.

Hitting Nice on Sunday, Fury then partied with England fans and splashed out one thousand Euros on JagerBombs for a lucky group at a second boozer.

All in all, it’s been a full-on few days for the unified world heavyweight champion who has been given four months to prepare to face Klitschko again by promoter Mick Hennessy.

A statement from Hennessy and the Fury’s denying the doping allegations featured a snippet revealing the revised date for the contest, which is expected to take place at Manchester Arena in October.
