KMG adamant Manchester venue not yet agreed for Fury-Klitschko 2

Despite announcements by Team Fury and BoxNation that top UK venue Manchester Arena will stage the eagerly-awaited return, KMG have reveals for a third time that nothing has yet been fully agreed.

“The location for the fight is not yet fixed,” KMG media officer Nicola Pattberg informed World Boxing News this week. “Once the location is agreed we will see when the press conference is going to be.”

Even with the current confusion, Fury looks likely to get his wish of staging the fight on home soil as the three-belt champion aims to repeat his winning performance in Dusseldorf last November.

Klitschko is set to venture out of German home comforts for only the fifth time in a decade, although is thought to prefer a venue in London rather than the 20,000 capacity arena in the North West of England.

Manchester Arena’s official website still has no trace of Fury v Klitschko 2 despite events dating past the current July 9 date as talks continue to complete details of what will be one of the biggest fights of the year.

Both fighters have already begun training for the clash, and once Hennessy and K2 officially confirm that both sides are happy with the site, it will be full steam ahead to decide once and for all the current top division king.
