An investigation has been launched by the Munich public prosecutor’s office against Teper, who it is alleged has also been found in possession of a range of banned substances.
The 33 year-old caused a shock in July when bursting onto the top division scene with a huge knockout win over Briton David Price, although Teper is since said to have failed two tests carried out in Germany.
Bayerischer Rundfunk also claim that Teper is under investigation on suspicion of unlawful possession of doping substances such as clenbuterol, testosterone, growth hormone and Methandrostenolone after the drugs were found during a raid.
German authorities at the BDB are yet to comment on what has been put out in the public domain this week as Teper’s reputation hangs in the balance.
Teper was due to defend his EBU title against Robert Helenius last weekend but pulled out of the fight with an injury and was subsequently stripped of his championship.
Should the claims be verified, it would be the second time ex-foe Price has been the victim of defeat by a fighter linked to drugs after similar happened to American Tony Thompson.
Thompson has since denied any wrongdoing.
