Tarver v Cunningham chief support to Huck v Glowacki on August 14

Veteran Tarver, 46, is undefeated since 2009 and still harbours a burning desire to fulfil his lifelong dream of winning a world heavyweight championship. ‘The Magic Man’ will be aiming to build on his impressive stoppage win over Johnathon Banks in December with a victory over ex-world cruiserweight champion and all-American Cunningham.

Many believe ‘USS’ Cunnigham was on the wrong end of a bad decision in March when losing out to Vyacheslav Glazkov on points – a reverse that could have earned Cunningham a top ten ranking with the major organisations.

The winner will be in prime position to be considered for a crack at Deontay Wilder, Ruslan Chagaev or even Wladimir Klitschko in 2016 in a bout that has entertainment value written all over it.

On top billing, long-reigning Marco Huck will make another defense of his WBO Cruiserweight title which has been in the German’s possession since 2009.

The Super Champion takes on Krysztof Glowacki, who is the mandatory challenger to Huck’s title and currently number one ranked by the World Boxing Organization.

Glowacki boasts a record of 24 wins and 15 stoppages since turning pro.
