Mayweather offers Chef Ramsay ringside seats for post-fight meal

The 38 year-old aims to strike a deal with big pugilistic fan Gordon Ramsay by offering the star of US hit ‘Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares’ ringside seats to his MGM Grand bout in exchange for the use of his considerable culinary skills.

“My boy Gordon, I know, is a big boxing fan. If he wants ringside tickets for the biggest fight in history, then he’s got it,” Mayweather was quoted by malaysiandigest.com.

“I can sort that out for him, not a problem. If Gordon wants ringside tickets, then Gordon has ringside tickets.

“All I want in return, after I win the fight, is to go a little way down the strip to his grill at Caesar’s Palace and have the best chef in the world cook me up chicken wings, a burger and cheesecake.

“And I don’t mean one of his employees, I want the best chef in the world cooking my post-fight dinner – that’s not much to ask for ringside tickets.”

Five-weight world champion Mayweather then went further by stating that if he ever dipped his toes into the food world, then Scottish-born Ramsay would be his number one choice to take the helm and turn his establishment into a major eatery.

“If I open a restaurant I want it to be the best and to have that I got to have the best chef,” said Mayweather.

“I am going to be speaking with Gordon Ramsay about becoming my business partner and us opening a restaurant. It would make sense for both of us,” he added.

Ringside tickets for the Mayweather v Pacquiao PPV extravaganza are set to exchange hands at extortionate rates prior to the first bell this spring and Ramsay would be well-advised to take ‘Money’ up on his generous offer.
