Board to decide suspended Scott Harrison’s fate on November 13

The 36 year-old, who last fought when losing to Liam Walsh in April, was santctioned by the BBBofC for not providing the adequate paperwork surrounding his recent court case and now hopes to be given the green light to return when the board convene on November 13.

Harrison is three fights into his comeback after spending seven years out of the sport due to criminal proceedings and jail time, losing the fight against Walsh after winning his first two lower-key affairs.

Since been released from a Spanish prison and returning to Britain, ‘The Real McCoy’ has had minor brushes with the law, but will be given a clearer indication of where his future lies in the sport once the meeting takes place in Cardiff next week.

“Scott was due to have fought Stephen Ormond, but a bicep injury caused him to pull out. Scott still holds a licence and we hope he will fight again before the year is out,” Harrison’s father and trainer Peter said when speaking to the Glasgow Evening Times.
