Pacquiao talks Bradley v Marquez, Mayweather v Canelo and his own KO

The Filipino Congressman, who squares off against Brandon Rios in his comeback on the 23rd of this month, also stated that the speed of rival Floyd Mayweather was just too much for Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in September as the Mexican ultimately fought the wrong fight.

“I didn’t watch the fight between Bradley and Márquez but I heard what happened,” said Pacquiao. “I had predicted that Bradley would win the fight so I am not surprised at what happened.

“The fight between Mayweather and Canelo, I know Canelo told the press he would fight like the style of Manny Pacquiao but he didn’t do that.

“Floyd is faster than him and quicker than him so the fight ended different.”

Pacquiao also spoke of his experience against Marquez upon his last ring appearance almost a year ago, when the ‘Pacman’ suffered a crushing knockout at the hands of the four-weight world champion.

“I saw the replay,” Pacquiao admitted. “I saw the replay and it just happened. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

“I am not going to complain or worry about what happened as that’s boxing.”
