David Haye rumoured to have part in Macaulay Culkin movie

Retired boxer set for acting debut in 2012

Former world heavyweight champion David Haye, who announced his retirement today, could be set to dip his toes into the world of acting as early as 2012 according to the movie website the Internet Movie Database (IMDB).

The 31 year-old Londoner has announced his intention to leave the sport that made him a multi- millionaire in a nine-year professional career and will attempt to forge out a successful career in film, with his first part already rumoured to be cast.

‘Service Man’ is currently in pre-production and is tipped to star the likes of child star Macaulay Culkin in the lead role, British actors Martin Clunes and Jody Lathom, along with cameo’s from TV star Jemery Clarkson, Blue band member Simon Webbe and Haye himself.

The British film is to be a military action/comedy and will be directed by Martin J. Thomas, with former boxer Colin McMillan being drafted in as the boxing co-ordinator and fitness expert Tommy Gunn overseeing the MMA instruction.

A follow-up movie ‘Service Men’ is already planned for 2013.
