The WBC superwelterweight worldchampion, Saul “Canelo Alvarez, probably will make the third defense of his title against the Puerto Rican Kermit Cintron.

The fight would be in November 26 in Mexico, but there’s no assuredness where the venue is going to take place, the only thing that is certain is that the bout won’t be outside Mexico.

Cintron is 31 years old, he has been welterweight champion twice, his resume is quite large, he has faced fighters like Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez, Antonio Margarito, and Paul Williams, with the first one had a draw, with the Mexican lose two times, and with Williams lose by controversial decision. Among his victories there is one against Alfredo “Perro” Angulo.

Alvarez in the other part will fight for the fourth time this year, his first fight was the one where he become worldchampion after defeating Matthew Hatton, his first defense was against Ryan Rhodes, the second against Alfonso Gomez and in November will be his fourth bout this 2001.
