The fearful knocker Alfredo “Perro” Angulo is pleased of being trained in Mexico City by the experienced manager Ignacio Beristain in order to face American James Kirkland on November 5 in Cancun Quintana Roo.

The Mexican also said that he’s glad to fight in another eliminator for the WBC super-welterweight championship, because his target is to become the world champion next year.

Angulo, 29, who has 20 wins (17 ko’s) and one solitary loss against the Puerto Rican Kemit Cintron, said that he hopes to defeat Kirkland to earn his shot and denied he’s obsessed in fighting a bout with Saul Alvarez, “I have no proliferation in to fighting one particular fighter, I’m ready to face any self named champion,” quoted “El Perro”.
