“Junito” headed for revenge mission with Mexican

WBA “super” light-middleweight champion Miguel Angel Cotto is hours away from a long-anticipated rematch with three-time world title holder Antonio Margarito. The Puerto Rican suffered his first career loss to the Mexican in 2008 and hopes to exact a sweet revenge later after a three-year wait.

The 31 year-old, who has held world titles at three weights, fought “The Express Train” one fight prior to him being found to be fighting with an illegal substance in his gloves and sees it as a personal mission to overturn the original result.

Margarito also has a point to prove as there is now heavy doubts and snipes over the victory after the substance was uncovered in his very next bout with multi-weight champion 'Sugar' Shane Mosley.

Margarito, 33, was banned from the sport for a year after the Mosley fight, which he lost via ninth round KO after the substance was uncovered and removed.

'Tony' will be keen to show that nothing untoward went on when the two met the first time at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, although Cotto's face was a mess at the end of the fight and a heavy portion of fans are doubting his sportsmanship.
