Arreola beats Quezada on points

“The Nightmare” wins by landslide.

Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola got back to winning ways last night with a dominant performance over the durable Manuel Quezada at CBB Arena in California, USA.

Arreola came into the fight on the back of a disappointing loss to Polish Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek and soon took the fight to Quezada in the early rounds, shaking his opponent in round three.

The American scaled 28 pounds heavier than Quezada and the power soon started to tell after the pace dropped in the middle rounds with Arreola knocking Quezada down twice in the ninth.

Quezada had no answer to Arreola’s dominance and power and was down again in the twelfth before the judges declared Arreola the winner by 117-108 pts and 118-107 on the two other cards.

With Arreola back to winning ways he will definitely be looking to get in the shake up for World Title fights with David Haye and Vitali Klitschko both still looking for opponent’s for fights later in the year.
